Rules

1 - Godmodding and OP
There will be no godmodding. Godmodding is when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.
-It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.
-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as
Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.

The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they’re not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they’ve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. It’s a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, it’s offensive to boot. " - Urban Dictionary

Also, if your character is too powerful (such as they do not have appropriate drawbacks or are simply just too powerful) they will be denied. Stay within your limits.

2 - Respect
Please have Respect for all other members of the forum, be it in the cbox or otherwise. Do not harbor a judge through RP if it is not called for. Keep things classy. If you have something to say to someone that you feel (or an admin feels) is too distasteful for the cbox, message them via private message.

3 - Character Limit
There is currently a character limit of 1 (one) character per account. This is a selfish rule, as it is only to make it easier on us staff members, although we still expect it to be respected. Aside from this, you are able to have as many characters as you want.

4 - Applications
Please do not begin rping until after your application has been approved. If you do so, it shall be immediately denied without reviewal for 3 days. After that, it will be subject for reviewal once more. Also, as a side note, if someone has a canon character that you wish to create, please pm them to discuss this. If you absolutely feel it is just for you to control the character, you may Fight them for control (under heavy admin supervision).

5 - Two Threads at a Time
Please keep things down to two threads at a time. This is to ensure you do not become bored of your current threads and ditch them.

6 - Power Tier
The power tier is set in stone until someone of higher power says otherwise. If you are of a certain tier, please do not exceed your maximum capabilities. Failure will result in immediate suspension of your application.

7 - Activity
It would be helpful to get on at least every three days (sans certain special conditions). If you are going to be absent longer then this, please post something in temporary leave. Also, any thread you are in without a temporary leave posted is allowed to skip you after 5 days of no documented notice (or end the thread).

8 - Mature Content
Try and keep all Mature Content (excessive violence, language, and sexual content) posted in the Mature Board, or at the very least, post a Rating in the thread name (example: M for Heavily mature content).

9 - Reservations
In order to apply for a certain position or canon character without being able to fulfill all prerequisites of this (such as actually making the character), you may post a reservation. This reservation must be taken into account for in at the most 1 week. If you do not have what you needed to have in that time, the position/character is up for grabs once more.

10 - Paragraphs
This is the final and most powerful rule. Every post must be a MINIMUM of ONE paragraph (which is 5-7 sentences here). Please try and keep to that standard. Your roleplaying partner(s) is under no obligation to post if you do not keep to this minimum.
